Solomon & Monica Raj
Pastor Solomon Raj is the senior pastor of New Beginning Ministries which was founded in the Middle East in 1991. The name 'New Beginning' was the title of the New Testament Bible which Pastor Solomon would carry around with him everywhere he went; using it to share the Gospel and encourage others into a new beginning with Jesus.
During their years in the Middle East, Pastor Solomon and his wife Monica pioneered a secret underground church fellowship in their home; inviting other Christians in the surrounding areas to express their faith in secret. This fellowship became a place of great value and growth, and saw many come to the know Jesus.
In 2003, God opened up a miraculous door for work and ministry in the UK. They began to pioneer home-fellowship groups, outreach evangelism, local community outreach and international mission trips, eventually founding New Beginning Christian Church in February 2016. Pastor Solomon, Monica and his two daughters, Joanna and Susanna believed God was calling them to expand their ministry into a church, to ensure the people they served had a place to call home; a place to seek God as a family and invite others into a new beginning. Ever since, their heart has been to build a strong community of Christians who can reach those in need of the Gospel wherever they are.

Solomon is our senior pastor, trustee and founder of New Beginning Ministries. He has a heart for community and fellowship and is well loved by his congregation! As a missionary, Solomon is often preaching and ministering all over the world, yet serves his family and New Beginning's church faithfully, and has done for many years!
Melvine is our associate pastor and trustee. He is a fiery preacher and prayer warrior; he enjoys sharing God's word with us and seeing people set free and delivered from worldly bondages in the name of Jesus! He is passionate about sharing the love of God and the truth of Jesus Christ with anyone and everyone.

Anton is one of our trustees. He is passionate about seeing the church grow and it's members fulfilling their potential for the kingdom of God! He regularly preaches from the Word of God (he is an amazing teacher!), serves on our prayer team and is a friendly face on our welcome team!
Yvonne Hall
Outreach Worker
Yvonne coordinates our outreach ministry. She has a heart for meeting people in the local community and sharing the good news of the Gospel! She is passionate about people knowing the love, forgiveness and redemption that they can experience through Jesus!
Jess Hay
Media Lead and Administrator
Jess is involved in media at New Beginning's, she often organises and oversees the tech in church each week and does various admin tasks to ensure the smooth running of the church. She is a vital part of our team!
Kelly Toussaint
Trustee
Kelly is a trustee and has a few different roles in the church, she serves in the prayer team and hospitality team. She is particularly passionate about deliverance, seeing Christians set free and live the life God has ordained for them.
Julie Waring
Youth Worker
Julie works with our youth, she has a heart to teach and train young people in the word of God. Her sessions often look very different from one Sunday to the next as she encourages the youth to learn valuable skills and be practical in serving the local community, as well as instilling Christian values through creative activities and studying the Bible!
Anna Thirukamaran
Children's Worker
Anna has been teaching children in a Sunday school setting for many years! She pours her heart, time and energy into planning sessions and activities so that children can learn scripture in a fun and interactive way! She is passionate about our children knowing their Bible well and living out their faith!
Beena Polepaka
Children's Worker
Alongside Anna, Beena works with our children in Sunday School. She is passionate about raising up a godly generation and is committed to teaching and caring for the kids at New Beginning's!
Rebekah Waring
Worship Leader & Safeguarding Lead
Rebekah leads our worship ministry team. She is passionate about leading people into the presence of God and seeing them encounter Him and be transformed. Rebekah is also our safeguarding lead.
